The family-friendly Alys Beach community (pronounced “Alice” Beach), situated on the Panhandle’s beloved 30A and steps from the beach, merges simplicity and sophistication for any guest seeking a seaside retreat. Dreamy, to say the least, its New Urbanist and pedestrian-friendly design accounts for shared plaza spaces, encouraged to be used as platforms for local festivals and events.
For those in passing, the 158 acres of Alys Beach are perhaps most universally known for their striking all-white architecture. Leaning into Moorish and Mediterranean flair, each courtyard home, villa, compound, and town building is inspired by elements of architecture in Argentina, Guatemala, and Bermuda. One of only three planned communities to line Northwest Florida’s Emerald Coast, this New Urbanist community brings niche opportunities to its guests. One of three types of rental accommodations are offered–the courtyard home, compound, or villa–elevating a more traditional travel experience from that of a resort or hotel.
Aside from the hard-to-beat white sand beaches and crystal coastal waters, the beach town found at Alys Beach offers guests the opportunity to pursue wellness and/or indulge in the carefully-curated food, beverage, and retail selection. The 15,000 square-foot Zuma Wellness Center, an amenity exclusive to Alys Beach vacation rental guests and homeowners, presents guests with a wide variety of fitness classes (yoga, TRX, boxing, Bogafit aquatics training, and XPT Extreme Performance Training), tennis court access, spa treatments, and more. In town, guests are encouraged to browse the selection of hand-picked merchants–one frequent favorite being Raw & Juicy. Another fully accessible amenity for guests includes the saltwater Caliza Pool, complemented by a lap pool, family pool, rooftop terrace, and open-air restaurant and bar.
How to get there?
While Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) is a 30 minute drive from the northeast, Destin Executive Airport (DTS) is an hour drive from the west. From either direction, any type of aircraft in our fleet is appropriate for your next Emerald Coast retreat.
