Wing Aviation is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Diamond Award of Excellence for completing specialized training on aviation maintenance, safety and FAA rules.

This is the third year in a row Wing Aviation receives the FAA Diamond Award from the U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration, in recognition of the company’s commitment to aircraft maintenance training and safety.

Wing Aviation awarded the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Diamond Award of Excellence

Established in 1991, Diamond Award is the highest recognition for maintenance technicians the FAA offers, and is a certification that accolades the expertise in an aviation company's maintenance program. The awards program was created to encourage aviation maintenance technicians (AMTs) and their employers to actively participate in training programs. To qualify for this award, all of the company's maintenance technicians have to participate in a rigorous 12-month program that requires specialized training in safety, technical knowledge, systems, FAA rules and regulations.

"This prestigious award from the FAA is a testament to the hard work and dedication put in by our maintenance team; led by Frank Zimerman, Director of Maintenance & Owner Relations - as well Wyatt Robertson, our Chief Inspector," said Jeremy Gee, CEO of Wing Aviation. "The team continues to learn, use their vast knowledge and years of experience to create the most renowned maintenance department in the industry."
