Wing Aviation Charter Services is proud to announce its advancement to the International Standard – Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Stage 3 Certification. Wing Aviation participates in this voluntary biennial audit to ensure continuous adherence to the general aviation’s best practices, to assure its processes and operations are continuously monitored and improved.

The International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO), developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), is a recommended code of best practices designed to help flight departments worldwide achieve high levels of safety and professionalism. IS-BAO Stage 3 is the final and the highest level in a five-year performance-based assessment, specifically recognizes compliance with the highest IS-BAO standards and practices following an in-depth audit and rating of the Safety Management System (SMS).

IS-BAO Stage 3 audit and evaluation confirms the Wing Aviation’s SMS is supported by on-going improvement processes that foster a sustainable and proactive safety culture throughout the company; ensuring safety management activities are fully integrated into the operator’s business. Attaining the highest level of IS-BAO accreditation acknowledges Wing Aviation’s positive safety culture and its commitment to continuous improvement.

Wing Aviation also holds the ARGUS International’s highest and the most esteemed ‘Platinum’ safety rating since 2008. The ARGUS along with the IS-BAO safety certifications continue to be the most widely recognized confirmation of quality for charter operations and only a few, distinguished group of operators worldwide has earned both certifications concurrently.

Wing Aviation currently manages over 20 aircraft based in Texas. Several super-mid and large cabin aircraft added to its Part 135 certificate in 2016; including Embraer Legacy 600, Bombardier Challenger 850 and a Gulfstream GV.
